Prepare the marinade.

In a small bowl, mix 3 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 Tbsp kosher salt, 1 Tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp cinnamon, and ¼ tsp ground red pepper. Combine thoroughly.

Place your chicken in a large mixing bowl and pour over 2 tbsp of fireball whiskey. Mix well with your hands to incorporate the whiskey into the chicken wings.

Take your prepared seasoned mixture and pour in about 2 tbsp. Mix well and add another tbsp of the seasoned mixture.

Transfer the seasoned chicken wings to a secure zip lock bag and let them marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.

To prepare the sauce, mix 1 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup fireball whiskey, 3/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, and 4 cloves of garlic, minced. Set aside after thoroughly mixing.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and top it with a baking tray. Spray some baking spray to grease the tray.  Place your marinated chicken on the tray, skin side down, and half an inch or an inch apart from each other.

Place the marinated chickens in the oven and bake for about 55 minutes at 400 degrees.  Flip the chicken halfway through the baking time.

In a heated pan, pour in your sauce and let it boil. For about a minute after it boils, turn the heat down to medium-low and simmer for 8–10 minutes.  Transfer the sauce to a saucer and wait for the chicken to be done.

Carefully take your baked chicken out of the oven and transfer it to a large bowl. To sauce the chicken wings, lightly sauce the wings with 2-3 tbsp of the sauce.  Cover the bowl with a lid and give the chickens a good shake to incorporate the sauce.

Transfer the wings to a platter and pour in as much sauce as you want. Enjoy every spiced-up bite!
