Materials:

  • 1 charm pack
  • 5″ x 5″ white squares

Directions:

Step 1

Take one 5″ x 5″ square (charm pack) and one 5″ x 5″ white square, and put them right sides together. Next, sew a 1/4″ seam all the way around the edges. After this, take your ruler, place it over the sewn square, and then cut it up diagonally. Take your ruler again, turn it the other way, then cut it in the other direction. Now, you have four pieces. Press these half-square triangles afterward.

Step 2

After pressing, lay down the pieces to assemble the block. Just lay the half-square triangles with opposite colors with all the centers meeting in the middle. Sew these pieces together, making sure all your triangles are going in the right direction, then press nicely afterward. Your fast and easy pinwheel block is now finished! Make a much of these for your desired quilt size.
