Chicken
Buffalo Sauce
Step 1
Add the chicken to a large bowl, then season it with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper, and give them a good mix until well coated. Add the baking powder and cornstarch, then keep mixing until evenly coated and set aside.
Step 2
Preheat the oil for deep frying the chicken and while waiting, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter, then add the hot sauce, and whisk them to combine.
Step 3
Add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and a little salt, then whisk them around to combine, and let it simmer for about 3 minutes before turning off the heat.
Step 4
Transfer the sauce to a small bowl and set it aside, then deep fry the chicken in batches to not overcrowd the pan, and cook them for about 8 to 10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Step 5
Let the excess oil drain off, then transfer the chicken to a clean large bowl, and pour over the prepared buffalo sauce. Give them a good toss to coat evenly, then serve, and enjoy!
