Toasting the flour in the oven helps to kill all the bacteria that might be in the raw flour. Now, you will no longer worry about getting sick after eating some of the cookie dough. Start by preheating your oven at 350 degrees F.
Put the flour onto the rimmed baking sheet and spread evenly. Place in the oven and bake for 12 minutes or until the flour reaches 165 degrees F. Once done, let it cool completely.
Place the room temperature butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds on high until it’s partially melted. Put the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl and beat on medium speed using a hand mixer (or you can use a stand mixer) until well combined.
Add milk, salt, and vanilla into the mixture and beat well. Next, add the toasted flour and mix on low. Lastly, stir in the chocolate chips. You can enjoy them right away or you can place them in the refrigerator and let them chill until it firms up. It can last for 1 week in the fridge or 1 month in the freezer.
