Cleaning is a very important chore, especially in the kitchen because this is where all the food is being prepped, this is why I always make sure to use a cleaning method that is simple, but is surely effective so that my time and effort are all well spent. I’ve seen and tried a lot of tutorials online and so far this cleaning method by Spanish Witty on YouTube is the best and most effective one there is.
Step 1
Remove the grates and burners, then place them in the sink, and set the burner caps aside. Fill the sink with hot water, then add about 2 to 3 tablespoons of baking soda or as much as you want, and add some dish soap. Allow them to soak in the solution until you’re done cleaning the stove. Clean around the stove and remove any burnt pieces, then cover the spark ignition with cotton to prevent any product from getting in, and then start pouring the Ajax all over the stove. Next, sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda making sure to cover all of the surface, then pour boiled water over them, and mix them all together to make a paste.

Step 2
Leave it for about 30 minutes and start scrubbing the stove with a sponge until nice and clean, if there are still leftover stains, then add more Ajax and boiled water to the area, and give them a good mix. Leave the solution for a few more minutes before you start scrubbing again, then using Q tips, clean the spark ignition, and wipe the stove clean. Scrub the soaked grates and burners, then rinse them well, and allow them to dry. Assemble them back together and you’re done!
