When it comes to sausages, I prefer a certain way of cooking and preparing them, and that is the boil-and-burn method. All you have to do is to boil the sausages first and then fry them until nice and crispy, cooking them this way is so much better than frying them directly because this makes the insides of the sausages cooked through and super juicy while the outside or the skin becomes crispy and flavorful. Learn this easy cooking method now with this video tutorial by How To Cook Great on YouTube and give this a try tonight!

Ingredients:

  • Sausages
  • Water or beer
  • Oil

Directions:

Step 1

Place a pan on a stove over medium to medium-high heat, then fill it with water or beer enough to cover the sausages, and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer, then place the sausages making sure they are submerged and covered, and cook them for at least 7 to 8 minutes. Turn off the heat, then remove the sausages from the pan using tongs, and transfer them to a plate.

Step 2

Pat them dry with a paper towel, then place a clean nonstick pan on a stove over low heat, and heat up some oil. Place the dried sausages, then fry them until nice and brown, and transfer them to a serving plate. Make sure not to pierce the sausages to keep all of the juices inside and turn them over every now and then to make sure that the sausages are evenly fried.
