Stainless steel pots and pans are so beautiful and look amazing on your baking rack, but not if the bottoms have that caked on yellow filmy stains. I had this very same problem with my gorgeous stainless steel pots and pans. and I went searching on the internet for an answer to my dilemma. I found this excellent stainless steel cleaning video tutorial by Marzia’s Inspirations, on YouTube, and the results they got were amazing. There are several methods of cleaning featured in this video, even a commercial-grade product that was supposed to remove carbon. The verdict, in the end, is that Barkeeper’s friend in the liquid scrub works really well and is very good for semi-light stains and maintenance. For tough baked-on stains, you want to use Easy-Off Oven Cleaner.

Materials You Will Need To Clean The Burnt Pots And Pans:

  • Oven Cleaner (Easy Off is good)
  • Steel wool (or Brillo Pads)
  • Regular dish soap
