How cute is this tomato salad bouquet? I’m obsessed. I’ve used this recipe for so many holidays and it has been a hit each time. It’s especially a perfect dish for spring. Munchkin Time really change my idea of a tomato salad with this amazing tutorial. I’ve been trying lots of new ways to switch my recipes up for spring lately. I’ve made everything from a Deviled Egg Bouquetto using a whole pack of toothpicks to fry a chicken. There are so many ways to switch up your regular cooking routines, and bouquet salads are a great way to peak your family’s taste in veggies.

Ingredients Needed For This Recipe:

  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Cucumber
  • Cream Cheese
  • Salt
  • Chives or Parsley

Directions:

Step One

Cut a cross shape in the top of the tomatoes. Don’t cut them all the way through, just to the center of the tomatoes.

Step Two

Place eight ounces of cream cheese into a bowl and mash it up.

Step Three

Peel a cucumber, then grate it and add it to the cream cheese mixture with basil and salt.

Step Four

Mix up the cream cheese filling then add it to the tomatoes. You will need to spread apart the cross you made in the tomatoes to put the mixture into them. Use a damp paper towel to wipe away any excess filling from the outside of the tomatoes.

Step Five

Garnish with chives, basil or parsley. You can add other green leafy pieces like celery, or green onions to create stems on the tomato flowers.
