  • Surgical mask
  • Scissors
  • Dishwasher salt
  • Toilet brush
  • Scrub

How to Clean a Toilet with Salt:

Step 1

Cut one end of the surgical mask, then open it, and remove the wire setting it aside for later. Turn the mask inside out, then rip off the middle layer, and turn it right back out. Fill the inside of the mask with dishwasher salt, then gather the ends tightly, and wrap the wire you removed earlier around the gathered ends twisting it securely.

Step 2

Put the bag inside the tank, then sprinkle some salt around the toilet bowl as well, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. After half an hour, start scrubbing the bowl clean, then flush it to rinse, and you’re done! You can also sprinkle salt along the grout of your floor, then scrub it well, and rinse.
