I’ve always wanted to try making a delicious dessert but I don’t have an oven yet which means I can only make a treat that requires no baking. There are a handful of recipes available online but one that stood out to me the most is this tiramisu cake by Nino’s Home on YouTube which only takes around 10 minutes to prepare. I immediately gave it a try and I was so impressed with the results because it is so good that I just can’t have enough. Go ahead and give it a try to see for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • 400 grams or 1¾ cups of mascarpone cheese
  • 50 grams or ¼ cup of sugar
  • 200 grams or ¾ cup of whipping cream
  • 5 grams or 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 5 grams or 2 tsp of instant coffee
  • 10 grams of ¾ tbsp of sugar
  • 100ml or ½ cups of hot water
  • Ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder

Directions:

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add the mascarpone cheese, sugar, whipping cream, and vanilla extract, then mix and fold them together to combine and whisk until incorporated and smooth. In a separate mixing bowl, add the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water, then soak the ladyfingers and lay them all over the bottom of a dish or container.

Step 2

Spread the cream mixture all over the top of the soaked ladyfingers, then repeat layering the ladyfingers and cream alternately making sure that the very top layer is cream, and flatten the top nicely. Put it inside the refrigerator, then let it chill for about 1 hour, and sift over the cocoa powder until completely covered. Serve and enjoy!
