I have made a bunch of cornbread before either using a ready-made mixture or preparing it from scratch, but this one is the best I have tried yet! Not only is this super quick to prepare, but it is also very delicious, sweet, and soft. The crust is infused with a yummy honey butter glaze and it just melts in your mouth upon biting. Cornbread
Honey Butter Glaze
Step 1
Place a deep glass pie dish in the oven, then preheat it to 400°F while preparing the cornbread mixture. In a large mixing bowl, pour the jiffy mix, then add the eggs, milk, sour cream, vanilla extract, and brown sugar, and whisk them all together for about 1 minute until combined. Carefully take the pie dish out of the oven, then melt a tablespoon of butter all around the bottom and sides of the dish, and pour the cornbread mixture.

Step 2
Place it in the oven, then let it bake for about 20 to 22 minutes or until nice, golden, and cooked through. In a small mixing bowl, add the butter, then microwave it for about 20 seconds to soften, then give it a good whisk, and add the raw honey. Whisk them well to combine, then season with salt, and whisk again until uniform and incorporated. Check the doneness of the cornbread by sticking a fork at the center, then once done, spread the honey butter glaze all over the top, and let it cool down until set. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
