Step 1
Lightly spray a 9*5 inches loaf pan with non-stick baking spray and line it with parchment paper, then set it aside. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and salt, then whisk them all together until uniform and set it aside. Add the butter to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat over medium speed using a paddle attachment for about 3 minutes or until the texture becomes light and fluffy. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating for about 2 more minutes. Zest and squeeze a lemon over the mixture and add the eggs one at a time, continue beating them until well combined.

Step 2
Switch the mixer’s setting to low, then gradually add the flour mixture in alternate batches with the milk. Once done mixing, transfer the batter into the prepared pan, then pop it in a preheated oven at 350°, and let it bake for about 65 to 70 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes before removing it from the pan and transferring it to a wire rack, then let it cool completely. While waiting for the cake to cool, prepare the glaze. Simply whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk in a medium-sized mixing bowl until smooth. Then, drizzle it over the cooled cake, and serve.
