One of my favorite go-to pie recipes of all time is this one by Adam Ragusea on YouTube! It uses graham crackers for the crust and has a super yummy and tasty custard filling. It’s super simple to put together that even beginners would be able to make. Try it out and see for yourself, enjoy!
For the crust
For the custard
For the topping
Step 1
Crush the graham crackers until it turns into a fine powder or however you want them, then add the sugar, salt, cinnamon, and melted butter, and mix them together until well combined. Taste and adjust by adding more sugar, salt, or butter, less butter means a more crumbly crust texture. Pour it into a 9 to 10 inches pie pan, pressing it down until nice and smooth. Prebake the crust at 325°F (convection) or 250°F (conventional) for about 10 minutes, then let it cool completely before filling it. To make the filling, simply mix together the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, and lime juice.

Step 2
You can also add all of the lime zest at this point or add some and reserve the rest for garnish later. You can also skip the lemon zest and lessen the lime juice if you want a less acidic result. Pour the prepared filling into the prebaked crust, then put it in the oven, and bake it at the same temperature as before for about 20 to 30 minutes or until the center of the pie has firmed slightly but is still wobbly when you nudge the pan and don’t let anything brown. Let it cool completely on the counter before putting it in the refrigerator to chill overnight. Whip the cream and add in the sugar and vanilla to taste, then top it in the chilled pie, and garnish with the fresh lime zest.
