I’ve always loved eating cream cheese bread, especially when served with my favorite chocolate drink! Recently, I’ve been trying to recreate this at home ever since, but so far, out of all the recipes that I’ve tried, this version by Yeast Mode on YouTube is my favorite! The taste was super delicious, the visuals are incredibly mouth-watering, and oh it was quite addictive because I can’t stop eating. This recipe can also yield 5 large cream cheese bread that you can share with your family.
Dough
Cream Cheese Filling
Garlic Butter Sauce
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, add the warm milk, sugar, whole egg, and instant yeast, then whisk them all together until the sugar has dissolved, and add the bread flour and salt. Continue to mix them together until doughy (if it’s too wet, then add more flour, and if too dry, then add milk), then add the milk and butter, and mix until well combined and incorporated. Transfer the dough to a surface, then knead for about 5 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic but do not overmix, and shape it into a ball. Place it into a well-oiled and greased bowl, then turn it over a few times until covered with oil, and cover it with a towel or plastic. Allow it to proof for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size and prepare the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling & Garlic Butter Sauce
In a separate large mixing bowl, place the cream cheese, then break it and mix until smooth, and add the sugar mixing them together until incorporated and combined. Add the heavy cream and continue to whisk them together until smooth, then transfer it to a piping bag, and set aside for later. In another bowl prepare the garlic butter sauce, first, beat the egg, then add the sugar, condensed milk, melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley, and give them a good mix until well combined and uniform.
Step 3: Baking the Bread
After proofing the dough for an hour, punch the air out of the dough to degas, then lightly knead the dough in less than 1 minute before shaping it back into a ball, and cut it into 5 pieces evenly. Shape each dough into a ball, then place them on a greased baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and cover them with a plastic or towel. Allow them to rest for about 20 minutes, then bake them in a preheated oven at 170°C or 336°F for about 20 to 25 minutes or until brown, and slice each piece of bread into wedges but do not cut all the way through as shown in the video. Pipe the cream cheese filling in each slice, then dip them into the garlic butter sauce, and bake it at 180°C or 356°F for about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
