The moment I saw these beautiful cookies online, I knew that I had to give them a try! At first, I thought that making them would be pretty difficult until I saw this video tutorial by Qara’s Kitchen on YouTube. This recipe was wonderful and simple, failing is completely out of option, and even beginners can surely perfect this on their first try.

The flavor of the cookie was well-balanced, and the combination of strawberry and lemon was a fusion I never thought I needed. After learning the basic steps of making this treat, you can take it to the next level by adding some toppings of your choice such as nuts, chocolates, or dried fruits.

Step 1: Lemon Batter
In a large mixing bowl, add the lemon cake mix, lemon jello mix, vegetable oil, and egg, then whisk everything to combine, add the other egg, squeeze the lemon juice, and add the lemon extract and keep whisking until smooth and incorporated. Set the batter aside.
Step 2: Strawberry Batter
In another large mixing bowl, add the strawberry cake mix, strawberry jello mix, chopped strawberries, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and egg, then whisk them to combine, add the other egg, and continue to whisk until smooth and fully combined.
Step 3: Assembling
Preheat your oven to 350°F, then line the baking sheet with parchment paper, and grab a large ice cream scoop. Scoop half of each of the batter, then place them on the prepared baking sheet and space them apart evenly.
Step 4: Baking
Place them in the preheated oven and bake them for about 10 to 12 minutes, then whisk together the ingredients for the glaze in a small bowl until desired consistency, and drizzle it over the cookies. Serve and enjoy!
