Ingredients:
- Cabbage, chopped
- Bacon strips, chopped
- Shrimp
- Sausage, sliced into desired thickness
- Fire-roasted diced tomatoes
- Tomato paste, optional, for color and thickening
- Onion, chopped
- Bell peppers, sliced
- Minced garlic
- Cajun seasoning, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
Directions:
Step 1
Place a Dutch oven on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the chopped bacon, and cook for a few minutes while stirring every now and then. Add the chopped onions and bell peppers, then give them a good toss before adding the minced garlic, and then continue to stir to combine. Chop the cabbage, then add them to the mixture, and then season them with cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cover the Dutch oven with the lid and allow the cabbage to cook until softened, then while waiting, season the shrimp as desired, and cook them in a separate pot or pan until it changes color. Once the cabbage is ready, add the diced tomatoes followed by the cooked shrimp, then mix them all together until well combined, and serve. Enjoy!
