  • 2 tbsp of spicy peppers, sliced
  • 26 to 32 ounces of turkey or chicken stock
  • 1-2 large turnips, diced

Step 1

Prepare a medium to large size of pot depending on the amount you want to cook. Place your pot over medium-high heat and start frying your bacon, without removing the grease, add in the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced peppers, then stir everything, and make sure that everything is well combined.

Step 2

Pour in the turkey or chicken stock, then bring it to a boil, once it is ready, then add in the greens in portions. Make sure to add in a little at a time and do not place it all at once, give it a good stir, then leave it to cook while you are preparing the turnips. Peel and dice the turnips, then add them to the pot of greens during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
