Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the milk, salt, olive oil, and yeast, then stir everything until dissolved, add in the flour, and mix them with a fork until a shaggy dough forms. Now, wet your hands with water, then continue to mix the dough until there are no dry flour patches, and cover the bowl. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes, then wet your hands again, and start stretching and folding the dough.
Step 2
Cover it again and let rest for another 30 minutes, then do another series of stretching and folding, and repeat for a total of 4 series of stretching and folding, make sure to smooth the dough into a ball after every series. After the last stretch and fold, cover and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until three times the size. Generously butter the loaf pan, then line the bottom with parchment paper, and set it aside.

Step 3
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured counter, then roll it into a rectangle, and roll it over starting on the end into a sausage shape. Tuck each end of the dough roll, then place it on a prepared loaf pan with its seam side down, and cover it again. Set it aside to rise for a final 1 hour or until the dough has risen above the top of the pan.
Step 4
Place it in a preheated oven at 350°F or 180°C, then let it bake for about 25 minutes, and make sure to not overbake because the bread will dry out. Once done baking and while the bread is still hot, rub some butter over the top, then unmold, and let it rest on a wire rack for at least 1 hour before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
