Crack two eggs in a bowl, then add 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp fresh cream, and 1/4 cup milk. Whisk all together. Next, cut the brown edges of three slices of bread and put one piece at a time in a bowl, and soak it with the egg mixture. After this, stack the next two slices, repeating the process.

Heat a pan over low heat and melt some butter. Once the butter melted, place the stacked bread on the pan and cover it with a lid for three minutes. After three minutes, flip the bread, close it, and cook for another three minutes. After both sides are done, brown the edges also. Drizzle some maple syrup on top, cook just to allow the syrup to be incorporated, then serve.
