Ingredients for 7Up Pound Cake:

Cake

  • 1 (15 oz) box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¾ cup of vegetable oil
  • 7.5 oz or 1 cup of 7-up soda

Icing

  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • ½ cup of 7-up soda

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325°F, then grease a 12-cup bundt pan with nonstick spray, and set aside. In a large bowl or stand mixer, add the cake mix, pudding, and eggs, then whisk them until creamy and combined, add the vegetable oil, and continue mixing just until combined.

Step 2

Pour in the soda, then gently mix over low speed until smooth, and pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Place it in the preheated oven, then let it bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 3

Let the cake cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then flip it onto a wire rack or plate, and let it cool completely for an additional 40 minutes. Whisk together the powdered sugar and 7Up in a large bowl until desired consistency, then drizzle over the cooled cake, and serve. Enjoy!
