As an avid fan of YouTube tutorials and recipes, I would always check and consult the website for special meal ideas that I can serve for dinner. What I love most about those recipes are their simplicity and deliciousness. My family even believes that I’m an expert at cooking because I always manage to impress them every single time, but all I do is follow what’s being instructed. This recipe by Island Vibe Cooking is one of my all-time favorites!
Ingredients:
- 5 pieces Chicken thighs
- 2 pieces Beef cubes
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Chicken bouillon
- 1 tablespoon Onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup Green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup Celery
- 1/2 cup Onion
- 1 tablespoon Garlic
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- 3 cup Water
Directions:
Step 1
Combine the chicken bouillon, beef bouillon, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and Italian seasoning, on a plate. Then coat the chicken thighs in creole seasoning, give it a good toss until completely covered, and set them aside. Place a saucepan on a stove over medium-low heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil, then sear the chicken for 1 to 2 minutes per side until they turn golden brown. Remove them from the saucepan.

Step 2
Using the same saucepan, saute the diced celery, onion, and green bell pepper, for about 2 to 3 minutes until they are nice and soft. Then, add in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant before adding in the flour. Let the flour cook for about 1 to 2 minutes, then pour in the water or broth. Place the seared chicken thighs right on top, pour all of the seasoning mixtures, then cover and let it simmer over medium-low heat for about 40 to 50 minutes until the chicken is tender.
