You can never go wrong with a simple skillet dish for dinner, just like this tender and juicy pork ribs by Cooking With Claudia on YouTube! What I love about this dish is how easy it is to prepare and that it goes with lots of sauce that tastes incredibly flavorful. You can pair this with white rice or any side dish that you want and guaranteed it will taste so good and satisfying.
Step 1
Wash and clean the ribs, then pat them dry, and season them with salt and pepper. Toss them around until evenly coated, then preheat a cast-iron skillet pan on a stove over medium-high heat, and drizzle some olive oil. Once the oil is nice and hot, add the ribs with the meat side down, then sear it nicely for about 3 minutes on each side or until nice and golden brown in color. Add in the sliced onions, sliced ginger, and crushed garlic, then cook them until fragrant and translucent, make sure not to let the garlic burn, and once cooked, add the honey and soy sauce.

Step 2
Toss the ribs around, then let them cook in the sauce for about 2 minutes, then add the rice wine vinegar, chicken broth, and red pepper flakes (you can adjust the amount to the desired spiciness), and add in the whole peppercorns and star anise as well. Toss them around nicely to incorporate, then preheat your oven to 350°F, and remove the pan from the stove. Place it in the preheated oven, then allow the ribs to bake uncovered for exactly 1 hour, and serve. Enjoy!
