Ingredients:

  • 2 (21 ounces) cans of cherry pie filling
  • ½ cup of butter, melted
  • 1 (9 ounces) box of Jiffy golden yellow cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then lightly grease your 10 inches cast iron skillet pan, and pour in the cans of cherry pie filling. Spread the filling at the bottom of the skillet pan evenly, then grab a large mixing bowl, and add the cake mix, melted butter, and cinnamon. Mix them together until well combined and it turns into a batter.

Step 2

Scoop the batter and drop the dollops all over the top of the filling, then put the skillet in the preheated oven, and let it bake at 350°F for about 50 to 60 minutes or until the batter is nice and set. Best served while still warm, enjoy with a scoop of ice cream on top.
