If you love brownies as much as you love dishes served in a cast-iron skillet pan, then this topic is definitely for you! You can now make your favorite brownies in a skillet through this recipe and video tutorial by Home Cooking Adventure on YouTube.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (110g) of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) of sugar
  • ½ tsp (2g) of salt
  • ½ cup (60g) of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp (1g) of instant coffee powder
  • 1 tsp (5g) of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup (80g) of all-purpose flour
  • 4 ounces (120g) of semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 ounce (30g) of semisweet chocolate chips, on top

Directions:

Step 1

First, prepare 9 inches or 23 centimeters of cast iron skillet pan and place it on a stove over low heat. Add in and melt the butter, then add the sugar, salt, cocoa powder, and instant coffee. Give them a good mix and continue to do so until well combined, then remove it from the heat, and let it cool slightly. Add in the vanilla extract and incorporate the eggs one at a time.

Step 2

Once the eggs are all mixed in, you can add the flour in, mix them together until well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and spread the other 1 ounce of chocolate chips on top. Bake it in a preheated oven at 350°F or 180°C for about 20 to 25 minutes, insert a toothpick into the center of the brownie and if it comes out clean or with a few crumbs, then it is done cooking. Serve warm with your favorite ice cream and chocolate drizzle.
