If there’s one item that shouldn’t go missing in my house, that would be shaving cream, not only for its initial and intended purpose but also because of all the things you can clean with it. It contains alcohol and other antibacterial properties which is great for disinfecting and it smells wonderful, too!

You should try cleaning using this item and for sure you’d never want to clean any other way again, this might even be your new go-to cleaning product, and that’s even better because it’s very inexpensive and you can find this at any Dollar store. #1: Clean Rugs and Carpets
Shaving cream is a great cleaning product to get rid of stains on your rugs or carpets. Simply spray some shaving cream on the area, then blot and rub it in with a damp rag or sponge. Let it sit overnight and vacuum it the next day, you may have to repeat this step a few times for tougher stains, or use Dawn dish soap to help clean it.
#2: Lubricate Hinges
If you have a noisy or squeaky door, then spray a little shaving cream on the hinges, and rub the product in. Move the door a little bit a few times, then wipe it up, and the noise should be gone.
#3: Clean Stainless Steel Appliances
You can also clean your stainless steel appliances with shaving cream such as your microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and oven. Sometimes, they may need an additional step, and that is moisturizing it with some olive oil. Just rub it in and you’re done!
#4: Clean Shower Doors and Tiles
Shaving cream is also effective for cleaning your bathroom, specifically your shower doors and tiles. To clean using shaving cream, simply spray it on the surface, then rub it in, and rinse it off, that simple!
#5: Other Uses for Shaving Cream
Other uses for shaving cream are for cleaning your jewelry, shining chrome and brass faucets in your sinks, showers, and tubs, and also for cleaning and defogging your mirrors.
