In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a simple marble loaf bread that is incredibly soft, fluffy, and tasty using only a few simple ingredients. The steps to making this are very easy and you can probably perfect it even on your first try. Step 1
Preheat your oven to 160°C or 320°F, then line a 9×5-inch loaf dish, and grease generously before setting it aside. In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth and combined, then add the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Add the eggs one at a time while beating continuously, then scrape the sides and bottom, before giving it a final mix. Gradually sift the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together, then add the flour mixture in 3 batches, and mix them well in between each addition.
Step 3
Set aside about 2 cups of the batter in a separate bowl, then add cocoa powder and red food dye to the remaining batter, and give them a good mix until evenly incorporated.
Step 4
Dollop the batter in alternate layers as demonstrated in the video, then smooth the surface evenly, and place it in the preheated oven. Allow the cake to bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. Let it cool down completely, then serve, and enjoy!
