Ingredients for Potato Chip Party Potatoes:

  • 1 (2 pounds) bag of frozen diced potatoes
  • ½ cup or 1 stick of butter, melted and divided
  • (16 oz) container of sour cream
  • (10.5 oz) can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of dried parsley
  • 2 cups of cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups of Ruffles potato chips, crumbled

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then coat a 9×13-inch baking with a nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. In a large mixing bowl, add the frozen diced potatoes, half of the melted butter, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, and half of the cheese, then mix everything until well combined.

Step 2

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, then spread it out evenly, and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top evenly. Crush the potato chips evenly over the top, then drizzle the remaining butter, and place it in the preheated oven. Allow it to bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until bubbly and golden, then let it rest for around 5 to 10 minutes, and serve. Enjoy!
