Easy Pizza Toast Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 slices of white bread
- 3 tbsp tomato/pizza sauce, divided
- chopped onion
- chopped bell pepper
- salt
- ground black pepper
- chili flakes (optional)
- chopped sausage (or whatever topping you like)
- dried parsley
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- softened butter
Directions:
Step 1
In a small bowl, add the chopped onion and bell pepper and season them with salt, red pepper flakes (optional), and ground black pepper. Mix well to combine everything. Next, butter the bottom part of the bread and place them in a parchment paper-lined baking tray. Now, add 1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce to each slice of bread, spreading the sauce evenly, then add the seasoned onion and bell pepper over.

Step 2
After this, add the sliced sausage (or pepperoni or anything you like), then the shredded mozzarella cheese. Garnish the top with some dried parsley, then place in the oven and bake for fifteen minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted. Serve and enjoy!
