I remember the first time I tried a milkshake when I was very young and I never forgot how incredibly yummy it is, and how I want to have it every single day! Among all of the flavors that I’ve tasted, the one that stood out to me the most is the chocolate peanut butter banana milkshake.

Ever since being introduced to that incredible flavor, I’ve been wanting to try making one at home, and that’s when I found this recipe by Original Recipes by Mashed on YouTube. It tasted just how I remember it and very similar to what I ordered from cafes, and I’m pretty sure this won’t be the last time I’m making this milkshake!

Ingredients for Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake:

  • 2 large ripe bananas, sliced
  • 3 tbsp of smooth peanut butter, plus more for topping
  • 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 2 cups of milk
  • ½ cup of ice cubes

How to Make Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake:

Step 1

Add the sliced bananas in a blender, reserve some for topping later, then add the smooth peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey, milk, and ice cubes, and blend them until smooth and combined.

Step 2

Pour the milkshake into serving glasses, then drizzle more peanut butter on top of each milkshake, and garnish with a couple of slices of banana. Serve and enjoy!
