Crust
Cream Filling
Jelly Tangerine Layer
Step 1
In a large bowl, add the melted butter and crushed cookies, then give them a good mix, and transfer it to the bottom of a springform cake pan. Press the mixture down the bottom firmly, then cut 3 oranges in half, and assemble 3 sets of 2 half oranges and 1 whole orange above the crust as shown in the video.
Step 2
In a separate large bowl, add the fresh cream, then whisk it until thick, add the yogurt, sugar, and lemon juice, and continue to whisk them until combined. Mix the gelatin powder into the water, then add it to the cream mixture, and then fold and mix until fully combined.
Step 3
Pour the cream filling over the crust and oranges, then spread it evenly up to the sides, and place it in the fridge allowing it to chill until set. Place a saucepan on a stove over medium heat, pour in the mandarin syrup, then bring it to a boil for about 2 minutes, and add in the gelatin and water mixture.
Step 4
Add the canned oranges and give them a good stir until dissolved and combined, then turn off the heat, and put the oranges on top of the chilled cake. Pour the jelly mixture over the top of the chilled cake, then put it back in the fridge, and allow it to chill until hardened. Serve and enjoy!
