Orange-flavored desserts are always a win for me, I just love how sweet and tangy they are, and they are perfect when incorporated into delicious recipes such as this orange mousse by Neena’s Kitchen on YouTube! What I love about this recipe is that you can serve this just about any day, it could be at a party, gathering, holiday, or on an ordinary day. Give it a try at home and share it with your family, they’ll love it for sure.

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup of cream
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • ½ tsp of orange essence
  • Orange food coloring
  • 1/3 cup of condensed milk

Directions:

Step 1

Cut the orange into small wedges, squeeze out the juice of some until you have about 3 teaspoons of orange juice, then remove the skin of the rest of the orange wedges, and slice them into smaller bits. Add the whipping cream to a large mixing bowl, then beat it using a hand mixer until medium-stiff peaks form, and reserve some of it for serving later. Next, add the condensed milk to the remaining whipped cream, then continue to beat them together until incorporated.

Step 2

At this point, you can add the squeezed orange juice, and a few drops of orange food coloring, then continue to beat until well combined and uniform. Now, add the chopped orange bits, then beat them quickly, and fold them together using a spatula until well mixed. Transfer the mixture into serving glasses evenly, then garnish the top with some of the chopped orange bits and mint leaf, and put them inside the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours. Serve and enjoy!
