I love eating no-bake pies and have already tried a variety of flavors, but nothing beats a classic and simple chocolate pie like this one by on YouTube! Not only is it super delicious but it is also very easy to prepare and only requires a few simple ingredients. I sometimes make this pie using leftover recipes from previous dishes I cooked. Try it out at home and see for yourself!
Pie Filling
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add the sugar, salt, cocoa, and cornstarch, then give them a good mix until just combined, and mix together the egg yolk and milk in a separate mixing bowl or cup. Place a saucepan on a stove but don’t turn on the heat yet, then pour the dry mixture into the saucepan, and start whisking it around. Turn on the heat to medium, then pour the milk and egg mix, and continue whisking them together to combine.

Step 2
Let it cook until it starts boiling, then once it does, continue to cook them for 1 to 2 more minutes while stirring consistently. Once thickened, quickly add the vanilla extract and butter, then continue whisking them together until incorporated, and then stir in the chocolate until melted and combined. Pour the pie filling into the prepared crust, then cover it with plastic, and put it in the fridge to chill for about 3 to 4 hours. Garnish it with sweetened whipped cream or some more chocolate, then serve, and enjoy!
