Icebox cakes are one of the tastiest and easiest desserts to make because they often require only 3 simple ingredients that you can easily find at the nearest store. They are also very convenient and quick to prepare, especially if you have guests coming over or if you’re in a hurry to make a yummy dessert. You also don’t need to exert too much effort in making this dessert because you can put them together within just a few minutes, and if you’re feeling a little extra, then you can add in more chocolates, toppings, or fillings that you want. Learn how to make this now with this video tutorial by In The Kitchen With Matt on YouTube.

Ingredients:

  • 18 full sheets of chocolate graham crackers
  • 16 oz of whipped topping
  • 1 cup of chocolate shavings, chunks, or chips

Directions:

Step 1

First, set the whipped topping out for about 2o to 30 minutes until softened, then spread a thin layer of it on the bottom of a baking dish or pan, and then place 6 full sheets or squares of crackers making sure to press them down nicely.

Step 2

Next, spread a generous amount of whipped topping all over the graham crackers until covered, then sprinkle the chocolate shavings on top, and repeat the layers until you’ve used up all the remaining ingredients and the baking dish or pan is filled.

Step 3

Cover the top with plastic wrap, then place it in the refrigerator, and allow it to chill for at least 4 hours or up to overnight. But, if you want to speed up the process, you can place it in the freezer instead and leave it there for about 2 hours or a couple more until set. Once ready, remove the plastic cover, then slice the cake, and serve. Enjoy!
