Ingredients:

  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Directions:

Step 1

Peel the potatoes, slice them thinly, then chopped finely. Put the chopped potatoes in a strainer and rinse them off with cold water. Drain the water. Next, in a pan, put 2 tbsp of cooking oil. Add the potatoes followed by 1 tsp salt. Stir fry the potatoes for 5 minutes over medium-high heat. Make sure to cook them well. After this, transfer it to a bowl. Add 6 tbsp corn starch. Mix well gently. Place the potatoes in a paper foil, cover with plastic, then gently push it with a rolling pin. Cut off all four sides and then divide it to your desired size. Gently round the corners of the hash brown.

Step 2

If you want to add cheese, push it thinner, divide it into the desired size, and then add mozzarella cheese pieces. Cover it with another hash brown piece. Next, place the hash brown in a pan with hot oil. Fast fry them over medium heat. Turn the hash browns back and forth to ensure both sides are nicely cooked. Take it out before it turns dark brown.
