One thing I look forward to the most at parties is some delicious Jell-O shots! Even my family and other guests that are coming over are excited about these fun and yummy treats. This has a significantly low alcohol content so don’t worry because you can have a lot of these and still be fine. Here’s an easy and super simple recipe by Delish on YouTube, if you want to learn it and give it a try, then proceed to read the written instructions down below, and watch the video tutorial as well. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of limeade
  • 4 packets of gelatin
  • ¾ cup of tequila
  • ¼ cup of triple sec
  • Lime wedges, for the rim
  • Coarse salt, for the rim

Directions:

Step 1

Place a small saucepan on a stove over low heat, then add the limeade and gelatin, and let the gelatin bloom for about 2 minutes. Turn the heat to medium, then give them a good whisk to combine until the gelatin has dissolved, and remove the saucepan from the heat making sure to turn off the stove as well.

Step 2

Add the tequila and triple sec, then stir them all together until fully combined and then transfer the mixture to a large measuring cup. Pour the jello mixture into small plastic shot glasses evenly, then put them inside the refrigerator, and let them set for about 2 hours. Once ready to serve, wipe a lime wedge around the rim of each shot glass, then dip them in coarse salt, serve, and enjoy!
