I’ve tried lots of tiramisus before but not a mango-flavored version yet, just like this one by HidaMari Cooking on YouTube, after watching the video tutorial, I immediately knew that I have to give it a try at home. It was so worth it because this is now my favorite tiramisu, even my family loved this as well, and I might even include this to the menu for future holidays or parties I’m hosting. You should check this out as well, I bet you’ll love this as much as I did!

Mango Lassi or Yogurt Smoothie

Slice the sides of the mango off the seed, then set the seed aside for the yogurt smoothie, and cut the other mango flesh into cubes. Reserve a few pieces of cubes for garnish later, then add the rest to a large mixing bowl, and add in the lemon juice as well. Give them a good mix, then place a large bowl on top of another bowl filled with ice water, and to the bowl, add the heavy cream and sugar. Whisk them together until well combined, then add the mascarpone cheese, break it apart, and whisk it in until incorporated. Cut the sponge cake into ½ inch thick, then lay it on the bottom of a baking dish or container until nicely covered, and pour some mango juice all over them allowing them to soak. Add the cream mixture on top, then spread it evenly, and smoothen the surface nicely. Sift over the mango powder on top of the cream, then garnish it with the reserved mango cubes, and serve. Enjoy!

Remove the flesh from the seed, then mash them well, and set them aside. In a measuring cup, add 1 part of milk and 1 part of yogurt along with the sweetener and lemon juice, then stir them all together until well combined. Add in the mashed mango flesh, then give them a quick stir to combine, and serve. Enjoy!
