Preparing this dish is pretty easy and you don’t have to worry about failing because you can adjust the ingredients, especially the seasonings to your preference. If you have leftover rotisserie chicken, frozen roasted veggies, or cheese, then you can use them in this recipe, too! Learn how now by watching the video tutorial below.
Cream Sauce
Step 1
Place a saucepan on a stove over medium heat, then melt the butter, and add the flour. Whisk them continuously and cook for a few seconds, then add the chicken bouillon powder, and pour in the milk gradually while whisking consistently to combine.
Step 2
Season it with celery salt, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then whisk them to combine, and keep cooking until thickened. Turn off the heat and adjust the seasoning to taste, then add the sour cream and shredded cheese, and continue to mix letting the remaining heat melt the cheese. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add some chicken bouillon powder, and stir well.
Step 3
Add the pasta, then cook it for about 9 minutes or until preferred doneness, and drain off the water. Transfer the cooked pasta to a serving dish, then pour the sauce over, add the shredded chicken, and season it with more onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Step 4
Add more cheese, then mix them well to combine, add some roasted veggies if you want, and transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly, then top it with shredded cheese, and place it in an oven preheated at 400°F. Allow it to bake uncovered for about 30 minutes or until golden brown or bubbly, then cover it with foil, and continue to cook until done.
