Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the cold heavy cream, then beat it with an electric hand mixer or in a stand mixer until stiff peaks start to form. Add the sweetened condensed milk and lemon zest, then continue to beat them together with a whisk attachment over low speed until well combined. Add the lemon juice, then keep on mixing until combined, and then transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container spreading it evenly.

Step 2
Place it in the freezer, then allow it to freeze for at least 6 hours or up to overnight, and once ready to serve, take it out of the freezer and transfer it to the counter. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes to allow it to soften slightly so that it’s easier to scoop, then garnish it with some lemon zest, and start scooping your ice cream. Serve and enjoy!
