Thinking about what meal or dishes to prepare for your family can be quite a challenge, especially if you only have a limited amount of time or budget. I’ve experienced that before and my go-to recipes would always be something that is very easy to prepare and requires only a few simple ingredients. Just like this one-pan dish by V Cook on YouTube, this dish can be prepared using leftover ingredients and most of the seasonings needed might already be available in your kitchen, but most important of all, it looks and tastes absolutely incredible.

Ingredients:

  • Cooking oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Minced garlic
  • 400g or 0.88 pounds of ground beef
  • ½ cup of tomato paste, or more to taste
  • 1 tsp of chili flakes
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Macaroni, cooked, drained

Directions:

Step 1

Place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then heat up some oil, and add the chopped onions. Give them a good toss and saute them for about 1 minute or until translucent, then add the minced garlic, and continue to toss and saute them together for another minute. Add the ground beef, then toss them together to combine, and cook them for about 5 minutes or until nice and brown.

Step 2

Add the tomato paste, then mix them all together until combined, and season them with chili flakes, black pepper, and some salt to taste. Add more tomato paste if you want, then give them a good mix to combine, add the cooked macaroni, and mix them all together until well combined. Allow them to simmer for a few more minutes, then serve, and enjoy!
