Looking for a fun activity with the kids or do you simply want to add some fun to your garden? Whichever it is, you’ll surely find this tutorial by Kelly Theresa on YouTube fun and incredibly adorable! You don’t even need any special tools for this project, all you need is a few pebbles, some paint, and old pencils.
Step 1
The first thing you have to do is to rub the tip of your pencils to make them rounder, then set them aside, and start coating the top of your pebble with red. Let the paint dry before you proceed, at this point you can use a hair dryer to blow dry the paint to let it dry quicker. Now, grab a small and flat paintbrush, then choose which end of the pebble would be the head of the bug, and paint it black. Let it dry completely, then paint underneath the pebble with black as well and let it dry completely. Using a toothpick, paint a line in the middle of the pebble to draw the wings of the bug.

Step 2
Press a thumbtack at the top of of a pencil, then use it to add white dots on the head for the eyes of the bug, then the head of the pencil without a thumbtack to dot the inner eye with blue, use the pointy end of the pencil to dot black paint for the pupil of the eyes, and a toothpick for the white detail. Make sure to dry the paint completely in between each addition of paint. While the eyes of the bug are drying, you can start adding the dots on the body of the ladybug starting with a large white base, then a smaller black dot inside, and adding different sizes of dots all over the body. Lastly, add small white dots along the lines of the head for more details.
