Ingredients for King’s Hawaiian Roll Egg Bites:
- 1 (12 count) package of King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 8oz of Jimmy Dean Sausage
- ½ cup of bell peppers, diced
- ¼ cup of butter, melted
- 8oz of shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 6 large eggs
- 2 tbsp of milk
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- 3 green onions, sliced
How to Make King’s Hawaiian Roll Egg Bites:
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with a nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. Place a medium skillet on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the sausage, and break it apart. Add the bell peppers, then stir them well, and cook them until the sausage is no longer pink and the bell peppers have softened.
Step 2
Turn off the heat and set the skillet aside, then in a medium-sized bowl, add the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper, and whisk them until well combined. Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish, then cut off the top as demonstrated in the video, and baste the rolls with melted butter.
Step 3
Add the cheese into the hole of each roll, then fill them with the sausage and pepper mixture, and then pour in the egg mixture evenly into each roll. Add more cheese to each roll, then place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and allow the rolls to bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and the eggs are set. Garnish them with green onions, then serve, and enjoy!
