KFC has an extensive menu of good dishes, but their mashed potato is really on another level. If you love their famous mashed potato, you will surely love this copycat recipe from Kusinela on Youtube. It’s a straightforward recipe you can pull off in less than a short amount of time! It’s also creamy and just as good as the one from KFC. Learn the full recipe by watching the video below.

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup full cream milk
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions:

Step 1

Peel off the potatoes then cut them into medium chunks. Add the chopped potatoes to a pot with water. Add 1 tsp of salt and bring them to a boil. Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender. After boiling, drain the potatoes. Transfer to a saucepan over low heat. Stir them for about two to three minutes to release any excess moisture.

Step 2

After this, transfer the potatoes to a fine-mesh sieve, then gently mashed them. By mashing it through a sieve, the texture will be softer and silkier. Next, transfer the mashed potato to a bowl and gently add 1/2 cup melted butter while mixing. Lastly, add 1/2 cup warm full cream milk. Mix the mashed potato well and season it with salt.
