Desserts are one of the best treats that you can enjoy after a heavy and savory meal or to munch on for a snack. This is also a food that is almost every kid’s favorite and no one can say no to it, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

But, these dessert balls by Original Recipes by Tasting Table on YouTube is on a whole new level of delicious because of its fun twist! It’s infused with bourbon which makes a wonderful contrast of flavors that I’m sure will get you addicted.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 325°F, then spread the pecans in a baking sheet, and bake it for about 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly toasted. Add the pecans into the bowl of bourbon and mix them to combine, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and set them aside to soak for about 2 to 3 hours.
Step 2
After a couple of hours, drain the pecans but make sure to reserve the bourbon, then transfer the pecans to another bowl, and add in the graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup of cocoa powder, and ¼ cup of powdered sugar. Give them a good mix until well combined, then add the reserved bourbon, corn syrup, and maple syrup, and stir them until incorporated.
Step 3
Scoop some of the mixture and roll it into a ball with approximately ¾-inch diameter, then do the same for the remaining dough mixture, and roll them into a mixture of cocoa powder and powdered sugar until well-coated. Cover the bourbon balls, then put them in the fridge, and let them chill for at least 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
