This project by Missouri Star on YouTube is a great quilt idea if you have fabrics that have a beautiful pattern and color that you want to showcase. The fabric will be cut in large pieces so it will surely pop in this project, you also don’t have to worry about messing this up because you can do this perfectly even if you’re a beginner in quilting.

There are no special techniques or skills required in this quilt and you can make this easily and quickly. Step 1
Get a print square and fold it in half, then place the ruler on top, and cut it out. Cut the background piece as well, then cut it in half, and again in half until the shape is as shown in the video.
Step 2
Assemble all of the pieces alternating the fabric prints, then make sure that the half-hexagons are forming an hourglass shape, and put the background pieces on the sides as well, refer to the layout for more accuracy.
Step 3
Stitch them one at a time per row, then press the seams as you go, and then stitch the rows to each other giving them a good press. Add the background strip at the top and bottom, then add the binding and backing, and quilt however you want.
