If you want to learn how, then read the instructions down below, and watch the video tutorial as well.
Step 1
Place a pan on a stove over high heat, then add the ground beef, give it a good stir, and let it cook until nice, brown, and juicy. Once brown, add the chopped onions, ketchup, Worcetershire suace, bouillon cube, minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and thyme, then stir them all together until well combined, and add the slurry (dissolve the flour in water). Give them a good stir, then lower your heat to medium, and allow the meat to simmer until its juices thickens. Once the gravy has thickened, transfer the meat mixture into a baking dish, then add the peas and carrots, and stir them well until incorporated and combined. Next, peel and dice the potatoes, then bring large pot filled with water to a boil over high heat, and add in the diced potatoes.

Step 2
Let them cook for about 20 minutes, then drain off all the water, and put the potatoes back into the pot over high heat. Mash the potatoes making sure they are dried before adding the milk, cream cheese, and margarine or butter, then mix them until well combined, and add the grated parmesan cheese, egg yolk, sugar, and remaining salt and pepper. Give them a good stir until fully combined and uniform, then transfer and spread the mashed potatoes over the ground beef and vegetables evenly, and smooth them out with a fork. Garnish the top with ½ teaspoon of paprika and parsley flakes, then bake it in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes, then slice, serve, and enjoy!
