Decoration
Step 1
Place the eggs in a bowl and submerge them in warm water about 100 to 110°F. Then, crack the eggs in a different bowl, add sugar, and whip at high speed for about 5 seconds. In a different bowl, sift flour and baking powder together, then slowly add on the egg mixture. Fold it gently until they are well combined. Combine milk, vegetable oil, and a scoop of the batter, then mix well. Pour it onto the batter gently, then continue mixing.

Step 2
Line your round pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Pour the batter onto it and stir lightly with a chopstick to remove large bubbles. Bake it in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes. Transfer it to a cooling rack, then proceed to prepare the syrup, simply dissolve the sugar in hot water. For the icing cream, combine the whipping cream and sugar, then whip until soft peak. Transfer it to a piping bag.
Step 3
For the chocolate star decoration, melt the compound dark chocolate, then pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and plastic, top it with another plastic, then flatten slightly with a rolling pin. Refrigerate and let it harden for 4 to 5 minutes, then cut it with a star-shaped cookie cutter. Decorate these stars with numbers using melted white chocolate. Attach pocky sticks on the back of the star with melted dark chocolate, let it harden completely in the refrigerator.
Step 4
Assemble the cake. First, cut the sponge cake into three parts, then brush the first layer with syrup, spread the icing cream on top. Repeat the process on the next layers, then cover the whole cake completely with icing cream. Pipe and decorate around the cake as well as on top, put curled chocolates at the center, and insert the chocolate stars.
