This creamy cheddar cheese spread only requires 5 ingredients! You only need cheddar cheese, butter, yellow mustard, garlic, and pepper sauce. If you don’t want butter, you can use mayo or cream cheese. It’s incredibly easy and quick to prepare, especially with a food processor.
You can serve it with homemade bread, biscuits, crackers, cookies, and chips or use it as a topping for pizza or egg dishes.
Note: Instead of butter, you can use mayo or cream cheese. You can also use cabbage habanero cheddar cheese instead of pepper sauce.
If you have a food processor, grate the block of cheddar cheese on the large side of your grater. If you don’t have one, grate it on the smallest side of the grater.
Place the grated cheese in the food processor, followed by 6 oz of softened butter, 1/2 teaspoon of yellow mustard, crushed garlic clove, and a splash of pepper sauce.
Place the lid and pulse until it becomes a paste and all ingredients are blended well.
If you don’t have a food processor, place all the ingredients in a bowl and use a fork to mash them together.
