Ingredients for Creamy One-Pan Salmon:

  • 4 salmon filets
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 handfuls of baby spinach
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • ¼ cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • Basil or parsley, finely chopped

How to Make Creamy One-Pan Salmon:

Step 1

Prepare and clean your salmon filets, then pat them dry, and season them with salt and pepper to taste on both sides. Place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then heat the olive oil, and melt the unsalted butter.

Step 2

Place the salmon with their skin-side down, then fry them for about 4 minutes until crispy and caramelized, turn them over, and fry them for an additional 2 minutes.

Step 3

Transfer them to a plate and set them aside, then in the same pan, add the garlic, and saute it for a minute until fragrant. Add the halved cherries, then give them a good stir, season them with salt and pepper, and cook them until softened.

Step 4

Add the baby spinach, then cook them for 2 minutes until wilted and pour in the heavy cream followed by the grated parmesan cheese and chopped herbs.

Step 5

Stir everything until well combined, then put the cooked salmon back into the pan, and let the mixture simmer for 2 to 3 more minutes making sure to baste the salmon. Serve and enjoy!
