Not to mention, it’s also quick and easy to prepare. Learn the recipe by watching the video below.

Ingredients:

  • 4 – 6 potatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 stick (55 g) butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 – 3 fresh thyme branches
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

Step 1

Slice four to six potatoes into thin slices, leaving at least 1/4 inch at the bottom unsliced. (Be very gentle while you slice the potatoes.) Next, peel four cloves of garlic, then crush them. In a pan, add 1/2 stick of butter followed by 3 tbsp of olive oil and the crushed garlic cloves. Also, add thee to four fresh thyme. Melt the butter over low heat (about three to four minutes.) After melting, transfer the butter mixture into a bowl. Brush the potatoes with half of the butter mixture. Make sure to brush every slice of the potatoes.

Step 2

Set aside the remaining half of the butter mixture. Next, sprinkle the potatoes generously with salt and pepper. After this, transfer the potatoes to a baking tray lined with a baking sheet and bake at 390 degrees F for thirty minutes. Pull the potatoes out of the oven, then sprinkle them with some thyme or other herbs. Brush the remaining butter mixture on the potatoes. Put them back in the oven and bake for another thirty minutes (or until potatoes are crispy on the edges.) After baking, transfer them to a plate, then serve.
