Ingredients:

  • 2-3 Chicken fillets
  • 2-3 tbsp Yogurt
  • ½ tsp or to taste Salt
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Dry Coriander powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Ginger powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Tandoori masala
  • A pinch of food color, optional
  • Lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp Oil
  • Butter, as required
  • Burger bun
  • Mayonnaise
  • Cheese slices
  • Tomato slices
  • Onion slices
  • Cabbage
  • Lettuce
  • Tikka Mayonnaise

Directions:

Step 1

Butterfly the chicken fillet and slice it into two pieces, pound it with a meat tenderizer, then transfer it to a bowl. Add in the yogurt, salt, red chili powder, dry coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger powder, garlic powder, tandoori masala, food color, and lemon juice, then mix them until well coated/ seasoned. Cover the bowl with plastic/ cling wrap and marinate it for 30 to 40 minutes.

Step 2

Place a grill pan on a stove, add oil and let it heat up, then cook the marinated chicken on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes. Then, once the chicken is done, top it with cheese slices, and cover with a lid, then cook it for 1 to 2 more minutes or until the cheese has melted. Remove the chicken from the pan and transfer it to the plate. Rub a clean grill pan with butter, then sear the burger buns on both sides. Remove the buns and start assembling the burger in this order: bun, spread some mayonnaise, grilled chicken, chili garlic sauce, tomato slices, onion slices, cabbage, lettuce, grilled chicken, tikka mayonnaise, bun.
